See I am trying to be good. Just finished a list of my classes I will be signing up for in the Spring. Two plant classes and two music. Then the sign writing class. I am taking Beginning Piano over again. My fingers don't necessarily do what I tell them too. We are getting a new keyboard so I will actually be able to hear what the music sounds like. Our present organ has bit the dust.

These are my two Granddaughters at Halloween. As you can see they are both doing well and Ellie is growing. I will get to watch Bea today while Mom, Dad and Ellie go shopping. Bea is picking up the new Disney princess before coming here. She saves her money for these. I am proud of her.

Sophie our dog is sitting here with me looking out at the court yard. She watches the squirrels. She wants so bad to go out and chase them. She is very pretty the way she is sitting here all alert.

For those of you who don't know, we have two dogs. Sophie is Shepherd, Lab and Chow. She has the coloring of the Shepherd, the floppy ears and webbed feet of the lab and curly tail of the chow. Also the best qualities of all three breeds. Our other mutt is a mix of Chihuahua and Rat Terrier. She is marked like a Mini Doberman Pincer. Very cute at six months old. They are both very good dogs.

Well that is is for now. Hugs to Everyone.

I would like to introduce to my newest Granddaughter who made her appearance Oct. 15, 2009 at 7:32 am. Her big sister Beatrice is thrilled and very helpful with her new sister. She is Eleanor Brianna and was 6 lbs. 8.2 ozs. and 20 1/2" long. Mom and baby are doing fine.

Now a little catch up. Both my younger daughters are working for the same company but two different locations. And both in under a year are shift managers. We all have gone back to school. Paula in Child Development, Deb in Secondary Education majoring in History and English, and myself in Music and Horticulture. And boy does it cut into my knitting and spinning time, but I still fit it in.

I finally finished my winter coat and actually had the nerve to steek it. It is holding up well. I have lost weight and so I have the buttons moved over so I have more coverage on my chest. I feel it turned out well and people seem to like it.

We have a new puppy. Her name is Suzy and is a mix of Chihuahua and Rat Terrier. She is very cute and as of last night tipped the scales at 3 lbs and 8 oz. She is marked like a mini pin. Sophie loves her and treats like she belongs. Plays tugs and shares bones with her. Even lets Suzy take the bones away. Very cute. She is Paula's and I am second choice if she is not home. lol

Well that is it for now. I am planning on making sure I update this every week so I will really try.

Hugs to all

Long Time No See lol

Hi All

I know it has been awhile again since I got on here. Christmas has come and gone. Had almost all of the kids over for Chirstmas Dinner. Did some of the old Polish dishes that are supposed to be for Christmas Eve. I even pickled herring myself. Paula learned to make Angel Wings which is the English name. A very light pastry with powered sugar. All in all it was a very nice Christmas. It was nice being to be with the family instead of so far away.

Well it is the New Year in fact I had a birthday earlier this month and am now 57 years young. I almost have my winter jacket done and guess what I steeked it. Yes I got up the nerve and cut it down the middle of the front. I am still spinning the llama from Butch for the front panels for the buttons and the collar. I will have my daughter take a pic of it when I get it done. The way things are going probably late this winter or next winter. lol Good things come to those who wait.

We (my two youngest daughters) are spinning yarn for a friend www.whitecreekwools.com and I experminted putting beads in the finished product and she liked it and sent beads with the roving so I will be working on that for her spring and summer shows. She has lovely Romeny and some mixed with mohair. Check out her stuff it is great.

Well hugs to all. I was going to upload a pic of myself and granddaughter knitting but it would not go. It also has a shawl that I spun the wool for and knit. Maybe next time.
